Mild weather to end ...briefly

Yes it is going to get a lot cooler for the St Patricks Day festivities with showers of rain or hail for Ireland. There is a risk of some very heavy rain on Sunday along the South and East coast. Temperatures will only be 7 or 8c but at least on St Patricks Day there will be some sunshine. After some more rain early Monday the weather gets back into its Southwesterly mode with milder than normal temperatures and a lot of cloud.
